Dr. G.P. Jeyanthi is Professor, Department of Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Avinashilingam University for Women, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. She has 23 years of teaching and research experience and has handled Molecular Biology for over two decades. She has so far guided six Ph.D. scholars, and at present five research candidates are working for Ph.D. under her guidance. She has supervised 45 M.Sc candidates and 15 M.Phil scholars for their projects. She has attended more than hundred conferences, seminars/symposia and has presented about 50 research papers in these scientific fora. She has published 22 papers in international and national journals. She was the co-investigator in a major research project funded by Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission and has undertaken 4 minor projects. She is a member of the Boards of Studies of three colleges.
