Prof. Dhiman, has been Chairman, sports Committee, Member Syndicate, Senate, Academic council, faulty of Arts and Social Sciences and Board of Studies in education of Punjabi University, Patiala. He worked as Principal of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala for two years when terrorism was alarming and his predecessor was shotdead by the terrorists at the College Campus during day time.
