Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Herbert Hope Risley (1851–1911) was a British colonial administrator and anthropologist, best known for his writings on Indian society, caste, and ethnography during the British Raj. His works remain historically significant, though also controversial for their racial and colonial biases.
