Swami Vivekananda believed that human being's highest nature was divine. How one reaches that understanding was the goal of his life and teachings. This book interprets Swami Vivekananda's approach to this human development as the "Vedantic" and "Manliness" approaches. (Today we may understand this "Maniless" as the idea of the "Spiritual Warrior.") The authors argue that it is through these approaches, or practices, that Swami Vivekananda sought to enable us to reach our divine potential.
