Started in 1974, Vipassana newsletter played a unique role in the spread of Vipassana around the world. It is a monthly newsletter published by Vipassana Research Institute which contain articles by Mr. S. N. Goenka, updates on centers and words of the Buddha in Pali translated by Mr. S. N Goenka. For old students in this tradition as well as for new students, it provided a special combination of inspiration and information.

This book contains a collection of articles published in the monthly VRI newsletters. These articles, mostly written by the Principal Teacher, Mr. S. N. Goenka enumerate different aspects of Vipassana meditation and its use to live a happy & peaceful life.

This series titled as 'Vipassana Newsletter Collection' is divided into five parts. 'Vipassana Newsletter Collection - Part 2' includes articles published in the newsletters from January 1994 to December 1997.

A collection of articles from Hindi newsletters published by VRI is also available in the book titled 'Vipashyana Patrika-Sangrah' divided into eights parts.
