I was able to compile this work in 1992 showcasing the Father of Modern Astrology Dr. B.V.Raman's seminal work in the area of seismic disasters and weather vagaries drawing from his editorials in the now defunct The Astrological Magazine. Compared to the performance of the Seismology Department and the Meteorological Department, astrology has a far far better record. Many of the major earthquakes between the late 1960's and the 1990's were anticipated both date-wise and site-wise months in advance by Dr.Raman based on astrological factors identified by him and drawn from classical works on astrology. The Government of India would be doing yeoman service to the world and humanity at large if it only incorporated the astrological factors in the working of its Earthquake and Weather related departments which as everyone knows have a miserable record of never forecasting seismic disasters but only explaining their magnitude only after they have struck and resulted in heavy loss of human lives and destruction of crores of rupees worth of property.
