The book mainly elaborates the emission reductions and control technology in environmental engineering. Firstly, the book focuses on the current situation about emission reductions and control in environmental engineering on the basis of the green house gas current influences on global environment. After that, the book explains the generation and control of green house gas during wastewater treatment, with the focus on the methane, hydrogen and acid generated by wastewater as well as N2O control technology during wastewater treatment. The third chapter mainly directs to the generation and control of green house gas during solid waste treatment and disposal, focusing on the elaboration of landfill gas utilization, semi-aerobic landfill, anaerobic fermentation of kitchen waste and pyrolysis of solid wastes as well as other technologies. In the fourth and fifth chapters, the author states the environmental technology mainly on the removal of green house gas and research progress about emission reductions separately according to two significant green house gas, i.e., methane and carbon dioxide. At end of the book, the author talks over the pollution regulation under the clean development mechanism.
