YCT Standard Course 6 Este libro corresponde a la segunda parte del nivel 4 del YCT. Esta segunda parte cubre 190 palabras y la mitad de las estructuras gramaticales y funciones comunicativas de este nivel del examen. El libro tiene 15 temas y el tiempo estimado de clase por tema es de 4 a 5 horas. La última lección es de revisión. Cada tema contiene una página de prueba del modelo del examen YCT, que ayuda a los estudiantes a familiarizarse con el examen y pasar el YCT con éxito después de terminar el libro. Los apartados del libro son los siguientes: frases clave, vocabulario, lectura (textos), actividades y ejercicios, canciones y una página de prueba del examen. Vocabulario Cada lección tiene alrededor de 14 palabras nuevas, con no más de 3 palabras que no están incluidas en el plan de estudios del YCT (todas marcadas con *). La mayoría de los sustantivos aparecen en imágenes y escritos con caracteres chinos, pinyin y traducción al inglés. El resto de palabras también aparecen escritos en caracteres, pinyin e inglés pero además se ofrece ejemplos de colocación o frases. Textos Cada lección contiene dos textos que incluyen frases de anteriores exámenes de YCT. Actividades y ejercicios El libro plantea ejercicios tradicionales de rellenar huecos o de elección, pero además sugiere juegos y otras actividades de actuación y movimiento.
