When geomatics is used to determine a catchment area, we are in the field of geomarketing. It is a technological and scientific method designed to boost sales and guide decisions regarding the location of retail outlets. SIDWAYA Publishing, a state-owned publishing house, was the subject of this study as it seeks to expand its network of retail outlets. The first part of the study presented the geomatics methodology that guided the research. In the second part, the research results were presented along with a distribution model derived from the geomarketing approach.

Licenciado com um mestrado de investigação em geomática, com especialização em geomarketing, sou Responsável de Marketing na Editions SIDWAYA desde 2013. Mas antes desta especialização, obtive uma licenciatura em Geografia em 2009 na Universidade de Ouagadougou 1. Paralelamente, frequentei a escola de jornalismo no ISTIC de 2006 a 2008.
