This book is focused The Poisson equation is widely used in fields like heat transfer and electrostatics, but solving it analytically is difficult for complex domains. Using the Finite Difference Method, it is converted into algebraic equations. The Successive Over-Relaxation (SOR) method improves upon Jacobi and Gauss-Seidel by adding a relaxation parameter, leading to faster convergence. Results show that SOR efficiently reaches a stable solution when the optimal parameter is chosen.
