LoRa (Long Range) is a wireless communication technology designed for low-power, long-distance data transmission. It uses a radio modulation technique based on spread-spectrum technology. It provides connectivity for battery-powered devices that need to send small amounts of data over long distances ranging from a few meters to a few kilometres. This technology is being used widely for the implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) and many other fields of sensor data communication through a long distance.
