PASSING THE MANTLE: Leadership Succession - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

In Passing the Mantle, Bishop Dr. RUGUBIRA M. Theophile reflects deeply on the biblical principles of spiritual inheritance, leadership transition, and the faithful handing over of ministry responsibilities from one generation to the next. Drawing on scriptural examples such as Moses and Joshua, Elijah and Elisha, and Paul and Timothy, he highlights how God's work continues through the intentional preparation and empowerment of successors. Rugubira underscores that effective leadership is not only about personal calling but also about mentoring, discipling, and equipping others to carry forward God's mission. With wisdom and pastoral sensitivity, he warns of the dangers when leaders fail to prepare successors, leading to decline and disunity, while also offering hope that a faithful transfer of the mantle strengthens both the church and future generations. More than a leadership manual, this book is a call to humility, obedience, and stewardship of God's gifts, reminding believers that the ministry belongs to God, and every servant is entrusted for a season. It serves as both a challenge and an encouragement to embrace the sacred responsibility of passing the mantle.
