Using Pontryagin's Maximum Principle and numerical simulations, the study evaluates the effectiveness of these interventions. A cost-benefit analysis identifies the most efficient strategies for reducing both infection rates and economic burden. Results show that combined prevention and treatment measures significantly lower the prevalence of both diseases and their co-infection in the population.
