Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, prompting global efforts for disease prevention reliant on public awareness. This study aimed to assess family caregivers' perceptions towards infection control measures for COVID-19 at home, utilizing a descriptive research design with a convenience sample of 170 caregivers from outpatient clinics in Beni-Suef city. Data was collected using an Interviewing Questionnaire Sheet, which evaluated caregiver demographics, knowledge, and opinions on infection control practices. Results indicated that 70.6% of caregivers had unsatisfactory knowledge about COVID-19, while 95.9% demonstrated satisfactory practices, and 69.4% held a positive attitude towards applying infection control measures at home. The study concludes that enhanced educational programs are essential for improving caregivers' knowledge and recommends increasing awareness about COVID-19 across various community settings.
