Collaborative management platform for research projects: Enhancing scientific research - Softcover

Currently, educational institutions and universities face challenges in managing research projects due to a lack of organisation, which negatively impacts their performance and quality. This paper proposes the implementation of a web platform to optimise the management of these projects. For the frontend, the agile SCRUM methodology was used, with Vite with React JS and Material UI for the components. Unit testing was performed with Vitest and React Testing Library. The platform was deployed on Vercel. The main endpoints are project and collaborator management. The paper is structured in six chapters, describing the component developed, the methodology, results and testing with SCRUM, and concludes with conclusions, recommendations and appendices supporting the results.
