Metabolic Syndrome Decoded: Molecular Mechanisms and Therapeutic Insights offers a thorough exploration of metabolic syndrome (MetS), a multifaceted disorder marked by obesity, insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, and hypertension. The book elucidates the molecular foundations of MetS, including impaired insulin signaling, adipose tissue dysfunction, systemic inflammation, and gut microbiota imbalances, while integrating insights from genetics, epigenetics, and environmental influences. It also discusses advanced diagnostic tools such as omics-based biomarkers for early detection and personalized risk assessment. Therapeutic approaches range from lifestyle interventions to emerging strategies like gut microbiota modulation and gene editing. This book bridges scientific research with practical relevance, providing a vital reference for advancing the prevention and management of MetS and its associated comorbidities.
