Sie hat einen Doktortitel in Literatur und Linguistik von der Bundesuniversität Goiás (2010), einen Master in Angewandter Linguistik von der Universität Brasilia (2004), einen Abschluss in Englischer Sprache und Literatur des englischen Sprachausdrucks von der Bundesuniversität Uberlândia (1999) und einen Bachelor in Jura von der CESUC.
