The basic object was teaching and learning arithmetic combinations, as they are a basic part of mathematical knowledge and a piece of prerequisite knowledge for the future understanding and use of mathematical concepts and skills at school and in life. The book is addressed to general or special education teachers, and special educators. My name is Aphrodite Teli and I am the Head of the 2nd Center for Interdisciplinary Assessment, Counseling, and Support of East Thessaloniki. My research interests concern issues of connecting educational theory with teaching practice mainly for students with severe learning difficulties in the general primary school.
