Energy production is a major challenge for the years to come. Indeed, the energy needs of industrialized societies are constantly increasing. At the same time, developing countries will need more and more energy to drive their development. Today, much of the world's energy is produced from fossil fuels. Consumption of these sources gives rise to greenhouse gas emissions and thus increased pollution. The additional danger is that excessive consumption of natural resources is reducing the reserves of this type of energy in a way that is dangerous for future generations. Photovoltaic solar energy offers a better alternative to this problem, as it is derived from the direct conversion of part of the sun's rays into electrical energy. The aim of the present work is to design a photovoltaic system for domestic use in order to satisfy the customer's energy needs at the lowest possible cost.
