Globally Anemia is a serious health problem among preschool-age children, school-age children, pregnant and non-pregnant women, men, and elderly, that affects populations of both developed as well as developing countries. Iron-deficiency is the most common disorder which causes anemia, nutritional disorders, and hemoglobinopathies are also responsible for anemia.
