These are very complex phenomena, which do not result from just one cause, but from multiple interactions between biological, psychological, social, and even cultural factors. To systematize knowledge about the nurse's interventions in the face of suicidal ideation in adolescents, was developed an integrative literature review, carried out from November 25th, 2021, to January 26th, 2022. The selected articles revealed flaws in the work performed by nurses in caring for adolescents with suicidal ideation. The lack of knowledge and lack of training on the part of nurses, as well as the taboos and consequent prejudices are also evident.
