Fire diverter and magnetic separator sensor used in the cotton mill. If the cotton come from the blow room section small iron particles in the cotton, it cause major fire accident.so we placed magnetic sensor in-between blow room & carding section. Suppose fire may occur, whole process should be stopped &fired cotton should be removed by fire diverter (it type of light sensor) fired cotton separately by water tank.

Dr. K. Murugananthan works as an assistant professor in the department of mechanical engineering, Kamaraj college of engineering and technology. He has completed his Ph.D. in the area of 3D printing from Anna university, Chennai.
