From the present research work, it can be concluded that by using 2% Crospovidone with microcrystalline cellulose as a super disintegrate by direct compression method, a well palatable, patient-friendly fast disintegrating tablet could be successfully prepared. The prepared tablet showed sufficient strength coupled with fast disintegration as well as fast dissolution.The release of the drug from the tablet depends upon the disintegration of the tablet which further depends upon the concentration of the super disintegrate used in the formulation of the tablet and on the mechanism of super disintegration.
