In this work, the authors present the practical applications of geoprocessing in the study of gullies in the Angolan context.In chapter 1, the authors discuss soil erosion processes and their mapping.In chapter 2, they present the data, procedures and respective methodology used in the study.Finally, in chapter 3, they describe the physiography and parameters of gullies in Huambo. The present work explains and reinforces the need to take greater care with natural resources, particularly forests, due to their environmental and soil protection role.
