The present book deals with women's rights. It is an empirical study that was conducted in two districts of Punjab, India. The book's main focus is to investigate the status of women's rights in Punjab and it is an attempt to discover the reasons behind the violation of their rights. It is an endeavor to identify the government and non-government organizations' efforts to protect the rights of women. This work is significant because violation of women's rights is a worldwide problem and India is no exception to it.
