The book practiced three important theories of education by three prominent personalities Paget, Bruner and Vygotsky. These are social constructivism, problem solving and production theories. Gakinya Kigamba holds a PhD in Mathematics Education from Mount Kenya University, Thika; an M.Ed. in Applied Mathematics from Kenyatta University Nairobi, Kenya; and a B.Ed. from Nairobi University. The author also holds a Bachelor of Theology from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and a Higher diploma in Theology.
