The main purpose of this book is to present the detail remote sensing and GIS techniques and applications for analysis and modelling of river morphology of a meandering river. An innovative river bankline prediction model is introduced in this book. Author holds an M.Sc. in Geography and a Ph.D. in Geomorphology and Hydrogeology from Dr HSG University, Sagar (MP) India. Currently, the author is working as a Manager, WRD, DHI (India) Water & Environment Pvt Ltd, New Delhi India. He has published 6 books and more than 93 research papers in National and International Journals.
