The brain is like a complex neural network comprising of around 100 billion neurons that mutually share or communicate with each other via axons. It is essential to understand the functionality of this network during the healthy or in diseased conditions.The objective of this book is to develop the image processing methods to segment the tumor, brain cyst, ventricle and white mater tract with maximum possible accuracy and with the greater processing speed from 2D MRI and DTI images.
