Silviculture (the cultivation of the forest), is the set of practices carried out by the silviculturist in a forest stand by which one maintains their balance, ensures their regeneration, preserve, promote biodiversity and produce goods and services to humans. Indeed, silvicultural practices relating to a given stand are carried out according to the management objectives on the one hand, and the specific potentials and constraints of the stand on the other hand.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Essoussi Iheb es ingeniero forestal con un título universitario multidisciplinario en ciencias y técnicas de gestión de recursos forestales. Es graduado de la Ecole Nationale Forestières d'Ingénieurs (ENFI) de Salé en Marruecos y tiene un título de ingeniería estatal en gestión forestal y silvicultura en 2017.
