The core of working together in management teams is based on the way in which team members in a management team are able to clarify the images they form of the management issue, the context of the management issue and the goals they pursue, and to combine them together in mutual consultation. In this book analytical tools are introduced for this purpose. We start with the concepts of 'image' and 'image space' and then these two concepts are combined with the control theory from system theory, the work of Weick and Morgan on image formation and the work of Isaacs on conducting a dialogue.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
El autor es profesor universitario en la Universidad de Groningen (departamento de Economía y Gestión Global), donde enseña Gestión Internacional y Metodología de la Investigación. En su investigación, se centra en los procesos de desarrollo económico local y en la forma en que pueden desarrollarse los grupos de población local más pobres.
