Presently, treatment of highly toxic organics present in wastewaters attracts more attention due to their harmful effects to the environment. During the last decades, Fenton’s process has been studied in order to optimize its efficiency in the depuration of liquid effluents.This Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) able to react and remove the organic matter by generating the strong oxidant hydroxyl from the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide in the presence of iron ions at acidic conditions.Fenton oxidation was studied extensively by many researchers for the treatment of wastewater containing organic compounds .
