The present study was carried out during Rabi seasons of 2014-15 & 2015-2016 at Genetics and Plant Breeding Research Farm of Narendra Deva University of Agriculture & Technology, Narendra Nagar (Kumarganj), Faizabad. The experimental materials comprised of nineteen genetically diverse varieties/strains and their 30 crosses.
