Vocabulary being the focal thrust of book, the authors put persistent efforts in employing a range of meticulously compiled and designed activities focusing on word power i.e. abbreviations, idioms, phrasal verbs, prefixes, suffixes, British and American spellings etc. Possessing rich vocabulary is quintessential for language learners because words create identity, build careers, elevate personality, and bridge the gap among people for meaningful communication.Furthermore, it is an equally competent resource for learners as a self-study guide for enriching their verbal ability and to perform well in the globally acclaimed language testing examinations i.e. IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, GRE and BEC. It is designed following the principles of activity based learning (ABL) to generate curiosity and attentiveness for verbal skills of the learners.
