Color images contain lot of information that can be easily perceived by a human being. The features associated with the Color images have greater importance in Image Analysis, Image Classification, Image Segmentation and Computer Vision applications. Acquiring and Processing a Color image is vital one. Any color can be represented by means of appropriate composition of Red, Green and Blue colors. As Color image Consists of Red, Green and Blue information at every pixel location, three filters are required in the image acquisition device such as camera.Due to advances in technology it is possible to use smaller and simpler cameras. In order to minimize the space and price, they make use of a Color Filter Array (CFA) placed on the lens arrangement. In CFA only single color component is obtained at each pixel location. The remaining two color components at every pixel location are to be estimated. This interpolation process of missing color components is called Demosaicing.
