But sometimes the assumptions made at the planning stage of a project could change during actual construction process. Resources play very important role in the project life cycle. Unavailability or shortage of resources may severely affect the project, leading to increased costs and delayed schedules. Due to these unforeseen changes, decision makers have to make quick decisions for resource allocation under such conditions. Attempt should be made to use technological advances to face the challenges in construction industry.
