This book is about a self-reflective study, conducted at Blantyre Teachers Training College in Malawi on how Cooperative Learning Methods could be used in the teaching of Social studies using action research as a tool for self-professional development. Even though the findings are from one college classroom in Malawi, the book has highlighted similar issues in other countries. Flora Mombe-Seyama holds a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Teaching studies (Social Studies Education) from the Univ. of Malawi, Chancellor College. She is currently pursuing a PhD in the same field. Author is a lecturer in Social Studies at Domasi College of Education in Zomba, Malawi.
