In human society, we are facing many life style and stress related problems increasing day by day. In this modern era due to sedentary life style, stress and faulty dietary habits, peoples are suffering from so many diseases of Annavaha Srotas. Anatomically, Annavaha Srotas can be considered as upper part of GIT from mouth to small intestine where digestion and absorption occurs. If we know Moola Sthan of particular Srotas very well then it is easy for the management of its related diseases. In this way we will be able to establish the role of Srotomool in the treatment or pathology of the particular Srotas. So the objective of this book is to explore the scientific basis of Ayurvedic principles among Srotas and Srotomool w.s.r. to diseased condition related to Annavaha Srotas. The utility of the knowledge of the site of Srotomoola (origin) of Srotas (channels) is not directly described in Samhita. This study will be help to better understand the knowledge of gastrointestinal anatomy and its applied aspect. Thus there is need for this regard
