The nature and extent of variability is one of an important criterion for formulating efficient breeding programme. Success of a breeding programme largely depends on the extent of genetic variability present in the population for evolving promising and desired types. A detailed extent of study of variability and heritability in relation to their contribution towards yield which is pre- requisite for an efficient plant breeding programme. Thus, keeping the above fact in mind present study “Evaluation and Genetic Variability Studies in French bean” was carried out to identify the different morphological and yield contributing.
