Problem solving and working memory were determined as the most important cognitive domains that affect the ability of schizophrenic patients to learn, maintain or perform the skills required for everyday functioning and grossly one's resilience in handling the encountered problems. The problem solving training program; that is concerned with the problems arising within the interpersonal context during everyday social interactions, contributed positively in the enhancement of the interpersonal problem solving ability and working memory capacity among patients with schizophrenia.
