Water is very essential to human life and existence hence there is need for humankind to fish out every possible source that water can be found. It is in this direction that geophysical prospecting in basaltic scenarios was conducted. Huge percentage of water is is saline in nature and also majority of the sources are polluted by anthropogenic activities. Investigating basalt using geophysical methods for water will at least solve some of the aforementioned problems faced by some other sources of water. Alfred Awuah and Felix Opoku Boamah pursued Master of Science in Environmental and Land Planning Engineering at Politecnico Di Milano, Italy. Alfred is currently a lecturer at the the Department of Environmental Management and Technology, Koforidua Technical University, Ghana.
