In this book, the proposed work consists of three sections namely FSIA, CAM-RP and VTP. The first section proposes a clustering mechanism for the sensor nodes under water based on Firefly Swarm Intelligence Algorithm (FSIA). The second section proposes a Channel Aware Multi-layered Routing Protocol (CAM-RP) which aims at optimizing the metrics of UWSN. The third section proposes a Virtual Tunneling Protocol (VTP). The two routing protocols in association with FSIA work better.
