The book has been designed to provide some brief information about the field effectiveness of various novel insecticides commercially available in Indian market against major chewing and sucking insect pests of vegetables. Comparison has been done among different management schedules including common farmers' practice in order to focus on bio-rational pest management of okra. The role of cluster bean on overall load of target insect pests in okra has been judiciously tailored with special reference to trap crop of leaf roller and an excellent reservoir of natural enemies.
