One of the most important structures of the national economy is pipeline transport. There are no industrial enterprises where pipelines of various purposes are not used, so its reliability should be given special attention. To ensure the structural reliability of the pipeline, a strength calculation is used, which reflects the operation of the pipeline. At present, engineers and researchers have to face many tasks that require a lot of expenses for experiments or that can not be solved analytically. The finite element method (FEM) is the most popular way of studying the behavior of structures under various effects on it.
