Transition metal complexes are of considerable interest due to their potential application in catalysis, medicine and material science. Among them, major studies have been done on the complexes of Schiff base ligands. The attempts to design new tridentate Schiff base complexes and their utilization as oxidation catalysts were the main objectives of the work presented in this book. The Schiff bases synthesized are of quinoxaline based ONN, ONO and ONS donor ligands.
