The ecological state of geological environment within technogenically disturbed regions has been considered. The influence of geological environment on the level of dental health of children has been analyzed. The ways of elimination of negative consequences of mining activity have been proposed. The structural-functional condition of bone tissue and the problem of osteoporosis of the Ukrainian population in conditions of natural endemies and technogenic contamination have been analyzed. The results of assessment of population morbidity rate in technogenically disturbed conditions of the geological environment within mining regions (coal and sulphur) have been presented.
