The objective of this research work is to evaluate the wound healing property of the synergistic effect of topical application of the combination of Aloe vera and Hibiscus rosa-sinensis extract on cutaneous wound healing in rats to find out whether it improve this healing process. The plant extract of Aloe vera leaf gel and Hibiscus rosa-sinensis flowers were extracted by using maceration method and ethanol as a solvent. The prepared herbal formulation were evaluated for wound healing properties.

Dr. Fazlina Mustaffa is a Pharmacology lecturer at AIMST University, Kedah. Author had worked as a research officer at Advanced Medical and Dental Institute and Centre for Drug Research, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Author had worked as a Quality Assurance Officer at Asia Nutraceutical Company and had published more than 30 manuscript.
