We have also tried to search and identify these gorgeous insect in the Jhargram district inhabiting in the forest areas as well as in some local gardens. This book also serves as a guide book for the students of undergraduate and post graduate courses and also for the tourists those who interested to study the biodiversity of Jhargram district of West Bengal. This book encourages our readers to know about the role of butterfly and moth in an ecosystem and also save this tiny creature for sustainable development. Dr. Roy is working as Associate Professor of Post Graduate Department of Zoology, Jhargram Raj College, Jhargram, and West Bengal, India 721507. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Visva Bharat in the field of control of plant parasitic nematodes. He has gained a vast range of experience in Applied Zoology. He has been teaching for long 20 years at UG level and more than 10 years at PG level. He has guided one Ph.D. student. He has published one book and more than 25 research papers in international & national journals.
