Large power transformers such as generator step-up (GSU) operate life time under almost full load. An efficient cooling system acts as a fundamental factor determining the safety of the transformer. Transformer is cooled with transformer oil and with non-directed flow pattern in this case. Analysis of such a huge system is a difficult and breath taking process in practice. This book is trying to bring out the processes of the inside of the transformer when conducting particles are present.
