The idea of Smart Dustbin is for the buildings, colleges, hospitals, bus stands etc. The Smart Dustbin thus thought is an improvement of normal dustbin by elevating it to be smart using sensors and logic. Smart dustbins is a new idea of implementation which makes a normal dustbin smart using ultrasonic sensors for garbage level detection and sending message to the user updating the status of the bin using GSM modem.

Dr. Sagar A. More was born in Maharashtra, India. He received B.E. (Elex) from the NMU, Jalgaon, India, in 2000 and M.E.(Elex) from SGB Amravati University, Amravati, India in 2008. He received PhD (Elex) in 2019 from NMU Jalgaon. He is currently working as Asso. Prof. in E&TC Dept. of R. C. Patel Institute of Technology, Shirpur (MS), India.
