A Patent is an important tool which improves and protects the latest inventions. In addition, the main focus of this book is to answer the question whether morality should be considered in the patent field in general and in the inventions, which consist in human embryonic stem cells in particular. Moreover, the analysis of this book is done by contrasting two controversial systems: the European Patent laws, where morality is omnipresent and the U.S patent laws which are more science orientated rather than morality oriented. In this book the reader can find a detailed analysis of the main cases which are related to human embryonic stem cells patenting.
